We are seeking a proactive and analytical Financial Controller/Accountant to join our team. This hybrid role combines responsibilities in financial reporting and strategic business analysis. The Financial Controller will be instrumental in shaping the Finance department of our fast-growing company, overseeing financial operations, ensuring budget compliance, and delivering actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making as we scale and continue to expand globally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger management. 

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. 

- Prepare financial statements and reports: monthly, quarterly and annual. 

- Ensure the accurate preparation and submission of VAT reports in compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines. 

- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, analyzing variances and providing actionable insights.

- Monitor and analyze key financial metrics to improve business performance.

- Collaborate with various departments to track profitability, costs, and operational efficiency.

- Assist in developing and enhancing financial processes, controls, and reporting systems.

- Provide financial support for decision-making, including scenario analysis and recommendations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

- Proven experience (2-3 years minimum) in accounting or financial management. 

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. 

- Solid knowledge of economics, financial markets and risk management. 

- Strong analytical skills and an interest in both financial reporting and business operations.

- An excellent communicator with the ability to present analysis clearly. 

- Proficiency in financial systems, Excel, and reporting tools.

You will play a central role in developing financial processes and will work closely with management.

Location
